Sean O’Pry was born on July 5, 1989, in Kennesaw, Georgia, to a family with Native American and Irish heritage. He has two siblings, an elder brother named Chris and a younger sister named Shannon. O’Pry was educated at North Cobb High School. Following graduation, he pursued a career in modeling, which took off after Nole Marin, the founder/owner of AIM Model Management, discovered his prom pictures on MySpace​1​​2​.

Over his career, O’Pry has been the face of numerous ad campaigns for brands like Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, H&M, Marc Jacobs, American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, GQ, DSquared, Numero Homme, Gap, Diesel, and Lacoste. He has also walked the runway for many top fashion designers, including Salvatore Ferragamo, Givenchy, Trussardi, Moschino, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermes, and Roberto Cavalli. He has made appearances in music videos, including Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” and Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild”. Forbes magazine named O’Pry the eighth most successful model in 2008, and he moved up to the first spot the following year. O’Pry is known for his humility and love for his family, especially his mother, who has been his biggest motivation. He enjoys sports and represented his high school baseball team, with basketball and football also being among his interests. He is not much of a “live life in lavish style” person and enjoys the smaller aspects of life, like spending time at Waffle House and vacationing with his family. From 2009 to 2012, O’Pry was in a relationship with Romanian model Diana Moldovan, and later dated Chinese model Ming Xi for a year in 2012, but they broke up in 2013. As of the last known update, O’Pry is single​6​.
